Test unsupported items via `async fn`. This is desirable, because `async fn` will probably remain unsupported for a long time (i.e. after this CL the `test_generated_bindings_unsupported_item` test will hopefully remain valid for a long time). This CL requires the following supporting changes: 1. Tweaking `lib::test::run_compiler`, so that it explicitly asks for a modern edition/version of Rust language (`async` is not supported in older versions of the language). 2. Tweaking `lib::format_crate`, so that it no longer assumes that `exported_symbols` all come from the main/local crate. In particular, testing with `async fn` discovers that `exported_symbols` include `core[ef75]::future::from_generator` which isn't local. PiperOrigin-RevId: 478088962
Extremely experimental interop tooling for C++ and Rust.
Please don‘t use, this is an experiment and we don’t yet know where will it take us. There will be breaking changes without warning. Unfortunately, we can't take contributions at this point.
