Windows: fix build of Bazel itself Recently the //src:bazel-bin genrule was extracted from the existing list comprehension that created the //src:bazel-bin-* rules (see https://github.com/bazelbuild/bazel/commit/218e8f6b366376c96b757a27a850662fb74726f0) The rule failed to build on Windows if you have an old output tree (built before this commit was upstreamd), because the new "bazel-bin" rule's output already exists in the output tree, and the rule fails to overwrite it. This PR copies the code and comment from the old bazel-bin-* rules' definition, to delete the output of the new bazel-bin rule. Closes #6961. PiperOrigin-RevId: 226156258
{Fast, Correct} - Choose two
Build and test software of any size, quickly and reliably.
Speed up your builds and tests: Bazel only rebuilds what is necessary. With advanced local and distributed caching, optimized dependency analysis and parallel execution, you get fast and incremental builds.
One tool, multiple languages: Build and test Java, C++, Android, iOS, Go, and a wide variety of other language platforms. Bazel runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.
Scalable: Bazel helps you scale your organization, codebase, and continuous integration solution. It handles codebases of any size, in multiple repositories or a huge monorepo.
Extensible to your needs: Easily add support for new languages and platforms with Bazel's familiar extension language. Share and re-use language rules written by the growing Bazel community.
