Migrate ArrayListCodec off of Unsafe.

ArrayListCodec no longer uses Unsafe.allocateInstance and Unsafe.putObject to
inject elementData and size. Instead, it uses VarHandles for those private
fields, obtained with MethodHandles.privateLookupIn, to make a new ArrayList
wrap an Object[] of the final size before registering it. Elements are then
written directly into that array using deserializeArrayElement as they become
available, possibly concurrently. There's no intermediate buffer or copy, and
as before, a backreference to the list from one of its own elements resolves to
the same instance and observes the list's final size.

The fields aren't final, so writing them is unaffected by JEP 500. The
VarHandles require opening java.base/java.util, which is declared with
add_opens on the serialization library. This also places it in the Blaze LC's
JAR manifest.

Bazel

{Fast, Correct} - Choose two

Build and test software of any size, quickly and reliably.

  • Speed up your builds and tests: Bazel rebuilds only what is necessary. With advanced local and distributed caching, optimized dependency analysis and parallel execution, you get fast and incremental builds.

  • One tool, multiple languages: Build and test Java, C++, Android, iOS, Go, and a wide variety of other language platforms. Bazel runs on Windows, macOS, and Linux.

  • Scalable: Bazel helps you scale your organization, codebase, and continuous integration solution. It handles codebases of any size, in multiple repositories or a huge monorepo.

  • Extensible to your needs: Easily add support for new languages and platforms with Bazel's familiar extension language. Share and re-use language rules written by the growing Bazel community.
