Release 9.0.0-pre.20250805.4 (2025-09-03) Baseline: 02edc50f114f75f4cb73f60cdd5eb71f0283cd10 Cherry picks: + bbfb288a7b24bff645c62fa2bf3521d1de293cb1: Fix https://github.com/bazelbuild/bazel/commit/9aa7583e97bffb17d2a6f4 8aecefa932e8064daa performance regression. + d5821edee8f1743a01ea7e7a4a77943683d38052: Automated rollback of commit f0a0d8a680aa4aefa1e6c0a0d14adeb85e2b2af5. + 48d63a6ae0e21b4807cfaa1697c0a85e488c2f0a: Automated rollback of commit f726568e1bf24fe96de2cda25525e1f8ae237132. + 0d9e2b3b6f4cd9e7e2c78477949a77c84ad87f92: Automated rollback of commit 3fe2a1c6dfc0a5b9d21ad872285aac6e1d581852. Incompatible changes: - Bazel releases that include a bundled JDK now use the system trust store for certificates by default. Set `-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStore` and `-Djavax.net.ssl.trustStoreType` via `--host_jvm_args` to override the default location. New features: - The `--experimental_cancel_concurrent_tests` option now accepts the values `on_passed`, `on_failed` and `never` and cancels concurrent test runs on the first matching result. If enabled, it's now effective by default and no longer requires `--test_strategy=standalone` to be passed explicitly. This release contains contributions from many people at Google, as well as Fabian Meumertzheim, James Judd, Keith Smiley, nialdaly, PikachuHy, Valentin Grigorev.
